Deposits
We may require a deposit as a precondition of service, in lieu of disconnection, and from a customer who was not required to pay a deposit as a precondition of service but owed payment of delinquent; undisputed bill for past utility service of which the utility was unaware at the time that the customer requested present service; however, we will only demand a deposit in this case if the present account becomes delinquent.
When We Require a Deposit |
- We will inform you, in writing, and tell you what you can do to begin or continue service.
- We will tell you what to request or amount.
- We will pay interest on your deposit.

Deposit Amount Payment Options |
We may require a deposit amount equal to the highest two (2) bills estimated bills. In some instances, you may have a choice to pay the deposit in full or in two (2) payments, with half of the total deposit amount due at the time the service is requested and the remaining half due in thirty (30) days. Deposits may be in the form of (listed in order of preference) cash, irrevocable bank letter of credit, surety bond or third party guarantee instrument acceptable to us.

We will refund your deposit upon termination of service and payment in full of all charges and guarantees. We may deduct from the deposit any such amounts that are unpaid and refund any difference.
